William Cooke - Managing Director
Mr. Cooke has almost 20 years of capital markets experience. Prior to joining MTN Capital, he was a Managing Director with The Gladstone Companies where he originated, structured, and executed debt and equity transactions for middle-market companies. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Cooke was a Managing Director with BHC Interim Funding where he sourced, structured, and executed mezzanine transactions for middle-market companies. Prior to that, he was an equity analyst covering the automotive and capital goods industries with ABN AMRO and with McDonald & Company.

He received several awards as an equity analyst, including being ranked #2 and #4 in The Wall Street Journal’s “Best of the Street” analyst survey. Mr. Cooke was also a securities analyst covering fixed income and equity securities with Conseco Capital Management.
Mr. Cooke received a BA degree from Michigan State University and an MBA degree from the University of Michigan. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Dennis Zinkand - Managing Director
Mr. Zinkand has over 25 years of credit and investment experience in the leveraged finance business. His experience includes asset based, cash flow, mezzanine, and bridge financings as well as warrants/co-equity investments.
Mr. Zinkand began his career at Citibank where he specialized in the financing of sponsor-backed acquisitions including LBOs, restructurings, and recapitalizations. At ING Capital and BNP Paribas, he served as a senior credit officer overseeing portfolios up to $3 billion and covering a wide span of industries. Most recently, Mr. Zinkand helped build and manage a $1 billion healthcare portfolio at CIT Group.
Mr. Zinkand has a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University and an M.B.A. from The Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina.

Dan Negrea - Managing Partner
Mr. Negrea has over 20 years experience as an investment banker. He held senior positions in leveraged finance at Drexel Burnham, Bear Stearns, Chase Securities, and ING Barings. At ING Barings, he served as head of high yield capital markets. |
During his career, Mr. Negrea worked with companies in almost every industry and has raised over $15 billion in capital through a variety of financial instruments including high yield bonds, senior secured notes, bank loans, mezzanine loans, and equity securities.
Mr. Negrea is a director of Kings Supermarkets and The Orthotic Group.
Mr. Negrea has an M.B.A. from Cornell University and an M.A. in International Finance from the University of Bucharest, Romania.
Mr. Negrea is a member of the Order of Malta.

David Barcus - Managing Director
Mr. Barcus has over 20 years of experience as an investment banker. He has held senior positions in capital markets and leveraged finance at BNP Paribas, The Bank of Nova Scotia and Bear Stearns. At BNP Paribas he was head of both North American high yield capital markets and global high yield syndicate. |
Mr. Barcus has worked with companies in almost every industry and has significant energy, mining, and steel industry financing experience. He has raised over $15 billion in capital through a variety of financial instruments including high yield bonds, senior secured notes, bank loans, mezzanine loans, and equity securities. Mr. Barcus has closed acquisition and leveraged transactions both domestically and overseas. He has also completed debtor in possession and bankruptcy exit financings.
Mr. Barcus has a BS in Engineering Science with a concentration in Chemical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from The Stern School at NYU. He also currently holds Series 24, 7 and 63 Securities Licenses.

David Acharya - Vice President
Before joining MTN in 2009, Mr. Acharya was a Vice President with Apprise Media, a private equity firm focused on media investments, where he worked with the founders of PRIMEDIA, a KKR portfolio company. |
While at Apprise, Mr. Acharya invested over $200 million in niche media companies in the United States and Europe.
Before that he was an investment banker in the leveraged finance groups of JP Morgan and TD Securities where he raised over $18 billion of capital for financial sponsors and companies in various industries.
Mr. Acharya holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees, both with honors, from St. John’s University.

Olivier Trouveroy - Managing Partner
Mr. Trouveroy, a professional with 25 years of business experience, was a founding partner of ING Equity Partners and its successor Hampshire Equity Partners. |
The funds he co-managed made investments totaling over $500 million in both performing and underperforming companies. He built a very successful investment track record over a nine year period.
He was also head of GE Capital’s leveraged finance business in France. Mr. Trouveroy worked for six years in the mergers and acquisitions department of Drexel Burnham in New York where he became a partner. He handled M&A transactions totaling over $4 billion.
Mr. Trouveroy is a director of Home Décor Innovations, Sound Lounge, Kings Supermarkets, and Joliet Equipment Corporation.
Mr. Trouveroy has an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Louvain in Belgium. He passed the C.P.A. examination.
Mr. Trouveroy is a board member of the Belgian-American Educational Foundation.

Brendan Johnson, Analyst
Mr. Johnson joined MTN in 2009. He is responsible for financial capital markets research and for identifying acquisitions for MTN. He is also involved in the due diligence work regarding MTN acquisition targets. |

Melissa Saint-Amour - Associate
Before joining MTN in 2009, Ms. Saint-Amour was an Associate in the Loan and High Yield Capital Markets Group of BNP Paribas.

During this time, Ms. Saint-Amour was involved in global capital raises for US and foreign financial sponsors and companies in a variety of industries.
Ms. Saint-Amour worked on debt refinancings, leveraged buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and project finance transactions.
She earned a dual B.A. degree in Economics and English from Wellesley College.

James Kim - Director
Before joining MTN in 2002, Mr. Kim was a member of Bear Stearns’ corporate finance department. |
At Bear Stearns, Mr. Kim was mainly involved in mergers and acquisitions in the aerospace, defense and information services industries.
Mr. Kim has worked with senior management and boards of directors of a variety of companies on transactions including exclusive sales, buy-side M&A engagements, recapitalizations, and acquisition financings.
Mr. Kim has a B.S. in Economics with a dual concentration in Finance and Accounting from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Douglas Benedict - Managing Director
Mr. Benedict’s 20 years experience in investment and corporate banking includes mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and corporate finance. He held positions of increasing responsibility at Citigroup, Legg Mason, Bank of America and Prudential, in New York and London. Among his accomplishments are the origination and execution of over $10 billion of domestic, cross-border and international transactions for a variety of clients across multiple industries. While at Citigroup and Legg Mason, he primarily focused on emerging growth and middle market companies.
In addition, Mr. Benedict spent five years leading business development and corporate services groups at Cendant Corporation, including its Preferred Alliance and Global Procurement groups. He also was a Senior Vice President at Lockton, the world’s largest privately-owned insurance brokerage and risk management company.
He has served on a number of public and private boards of directors and currently serves as a director of WVT Communications, a NASDAQ-listed telecommunications company.
Mr. Benedict earned his A.B. in Economics from Harvard University and his MBA from The Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth.
